Hair Care is Our Love Language

Welcome to the BodFood family, where we believe that a focus on a combination of natural, organic and clean ingredients are as important as high-performance hair care products. As a studying cosmetic formulations chemist, our founder Linda Ireland assesses every ingredient in our products for both performance that is science backed but also they must be kind and gentle on our scalp and body.

Linda's journey began when she experienced chronic fatigue and autoimmune conditions, which led her to eliminate hormone-disrupting chemicals from her life after suffering scalp and skin allergies. She couldn't find a dry shampoo made of natural ingredients so she decided to create her own - originally in her thermomix at home for her and her friends and family. After receiving great feedback and healing her own scalp and skin conditions this experience inspired her to launch BodFood, with the goal of providing performance hair care without any harmful ingredients.

At BodFood, we believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in it. Our focus is on using a combination of naturally derived, organic and gentle non toxic ingredients that are sustainable and ethical without compromising performance. Our products are infused with vitamins, superfoods, and even crystals, providing nourishment and healing for your hair.

Located in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, each product is designed to protect and nourish hair exposed to the Australian way of life: salt, sun, and UV.

We're committed to contributing to the world in a positive way, and our products are cruelty-free and 100% vegan. We also avoid harmful chemicals such as sulfates and parabens, ensuring that every ingredient benefits not just your hair but the planet too.

At BodFood, we're on a mission to make clean Australian made and owned products more accessible and the industry standard - we want to see more Aussie products in Australian homes, supporting local ingredient producers, manufacturing and suppliers.
